Amazon deals, posted by an automated system and clearly labeled.

Deals Lantern posts Amazon products that might be worth a look. We never show a price, because prices can change at any time. You click through and see the current price on Amazon.

How a post gets made

  1. A product is picked, either by an automated system or by hand by the person who runs the account. A person oversees everything and can pause posting at any time.
  2. The product is checked automatically against our posting rules. For example, a post never includes a price or a discount figure.
  3. A short post is written about the product. It contains no price and no percentage, because we can't keep those accurate after we post.
  4. The post goes out with a plain marker saying the link is a paid link.

What a post looks like

Every post follows this shape. The opening line varies, and the product here is made up.

  • No price, no discount figure. Amazon's own page always has the current price. Ours could be out of date soon after posting.
  • A direct Amazon link. We post the full amazon.com link and never use link shorteners or cloaking. X wraps every link in its own t.co redirect, so on X the link passes through that first.
  • Our tracking ID. This is how Amazon would know a purchase came from us. Once our Associates application is approved, it is how we may earn a commission.
  • "(paid link)". Right next to the link, so you never have to hunt for it.
